Политика конфиденциальности

Дата: 27 октября 2026. Letter Desk — локальная программа для командной строки. Она отправляет письмо с Google-аккаунта, в который человек вошёл сам. У программы нет своего сервера.

Какие данные Google запрашиваются

• Адрес Google-аккаунта. Разрешения openid и email (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email). Адрес нужен, чтобы показать, какой ящик выбран отправителем.
• Право отправлять почту от имени этого аккаунта. Разрешение https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send. Других разрешений Gmail программа не просит: она не читает ящик, не меняет письма и не удаляет их.
• Текст, тема и адреса получателей, которые человек ввёл в программе. Эти данные создаёт сам человек на своём компьютере. Они передаются в Gmail API только для отправки этого письма.

Зачем они используются

Данные используются, чтобы войти в выбранный аккаунт, показать его адрес и отправить одно письмо, которое человек написал и подтвердил. Letter Desk не использует данные Google для рекламы, не продаёт их и не оценивает по ним кредитоспособность.

Где они хранятся

Токен входа и выбранный адрес хранятся только на компьютере пользователя, в папке профиля .gmail-cmd. Файл клиента OAuth (credentials.json) тоже лежит на этом компьютере. Letter Desk не отправляет токен и текст письма на сервер разработчика: такого сервера нет.

Кому они передаются

Письмо уходит в Gmail API, и Google доставляет его получателям, которых указал отправитель. Разработчик Letter Desk не получает копию письма, токен и адрес. Данные не передаются рекламным сетям и брокерам данных.

Использование и передача информации, полученной от Google API, в любое другое приложение соответствует Google API Services User Data Policy, включая требования Limited Use.

Сколько хранятся и как удалить

Токен остаётся на компьютере, пока человек не удалит вход в меню программы или не отзовёт доступ Google. После отправки программа не хранит отдельную копию письма. Удаление входа стирает локальный токен. Доступ приложения отзывается в Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Privacy policy

Effective 27 October 2026. Letter Desk is a local command-line program. A person signs in to their own Google account and sends a message they wrote. The program does not operate a server.

Google data the program requests

• The account email address, through the openid and email scopes (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email), so the program can show which mailbox is the sender.
• Permission to send mail as that account, through https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send. The program does not request access to read, change, or delete mailbox contents.
• The recipients, subject, and body the person types. That text is created on their computer and is passed to the Gmail API only to send that message.

How the data is used

The data is used to sign in, show the sender address, and send the message the person wrote and confirmed. Letter Desk does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not use it to assess creditworthiness.

Where it is stored

The sign-in token and the selected address stay on the user's computer, in the .gmail-cmd folder of their profile. The OAuth client file (credentials.json) stays on that computer too. Letter Desk does not upload the token or the message to a developer server.

Who receives it

The message is sent to the Gmail API, and Google delivers it to the recipients the sender named. The Letter Desk developer does not receive a copy of the message, the token, or the address. The data is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Letter Desk's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

The token remains on the computer until the person deletes that sign-in in the program or revokes the app in their Google Account. The program does not keep a separate copy of a message after it is sent. Google access can be revoked at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
